Modern interpretations of myths and how they are being used today
first the myth of Nuwa, before I dive into describing modern interpretations of this myth, there are other historical references to people being made of clay and gods holding up the sky, in the Quran for example it is described that people are made of clay. Also, in Greek/Roman mythology Atlas was given the task of holding up the heavens as a punishment by Zeus for fighting to control the heavens. In modern interpretation, a terracotta army exists in China dating back to the Qin dynasty, this isn't an entirely modern representation because the QIN dynasty was about 200 BC but this is an interesting example of life imitating art. As for the myth of Boya and Ziqi, there are many stories, tv shows, and movies based on 2 or more people having a good friendship such as in this story, some examples would be Drake and Josh or Phineas and Ferb.
